Kim and Susie Cox – Proven managerial experience and excellent interpersonal skills.
Kim and Susie both come from professional backgrounds. They lived on-site at "Chateau Royale Beach Resort" a 66 unit high-rise complex for five years and more recently, they managed "The DOCKS on Goodwin" a 148 unit twin tower complex in Kangaroo Point. Kim is the current State President of the Australian Resident Accommodation Managers Association [QLD Inc] and through this position; Kim is at the cutting edge of potential threats and opportunities in relation to the industry, which in turn provides a sound basis for short and long term planning. Kim is also the holder of a "full" Real Estate Agent’s Licence. Susie is a qualified Resident Letting Agent. Kim and Susie currently manage "The Hastings Noosa" situated at 30 Hastings Street, Noosa Heads.
David and Peta Woods – Proven business skills, exceptional customer service and innovative ideas.
David worked for the family business as an apprentice diesel mechanic, spare parts manager and finally as a sales manager until 1996. He has won numerous industry awards. Peta spent nine years with Westpac Banking Corporation in a variety of departments specialising in customer service and legal documentation before taking up the management rights of the Noosa Hill Resort in March 1996.
David and Peta have based their careers on providing exceptional customer service and enjoy an on-going relationship with owners and guests of the resort. Their commitment towards improvements in and around the resort resulted in an increase in occupancy and perhaps more importantly, owners realising an increase in the overall value of their Investment. They also completed major upgrading including; re-painting, new landscaping, new entry design, refurbished pool, gymnasium, sauna and tennis court totalling over $150,000.
In December 1999 They purchased The Management Rights to The Emerald Noosa located in Hastings St of which they still have and manage along with a very good Management team. In May 2001, they also purchased Hemingway Villas , a boutique resort situated in Noosaville
David is past committee member of the Sunshine Coast branch of the Queensland Resident Accommodation Managers Association. David has also worked as a consultant for Richards Body Corporate Management. This has provided David with a greater knowledge of Body Corporate management and secretarial issues which are fundamental in the day to day operations of management and letting businesses.
Peter and Helen Brewer
Peter and Helen are both professional Accountants with many years experience in their chosen areas of expertise. On completing their Bachelor of Business degrees, they both commenced work for Price Waterhouse (now PWC) before moving to the Sunshine Coast some 16 years ago.
Peter is a Chartered Accountant with 20 years experience in Public Practice. He was a Principal in a leading Sunshine Coast Accounting Practice for over 12 years before selling his equity interests in March 2007 to pursue other business interests on a full time basis. Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia and remains a Registered Tax Agent. He has spent many years as an elected member on Committee of the Sunshine Beach Surf Lifesaving Club Inc.
During his time in public practice, Peter has developed specific expertise in the Accommodation and Tourism industries. He forms an integral part of the business assisting in Strategic Planning and Corporate Governance.
Helen has also worked extensively in Public Practice on the Sunshine Coast and completed her Certified Public Accountant studies during this time. Helen’s focus is now directed specifically towards the Accommodation and Tourism Industry. Her accounting background has enabled her to provide skills in all financial and administrative areas of business. A close relationship with the Management team at APM ensures accounting and financial affairs are well managed. Helen is responsible for the preparation of monthly financial reports, analytical reviews, cashflow management, payroll and credit control for all properties managed by the APM group.
